Thanks everyone! What is the location or where is the right place to get that information?

Well, I don't really want to get into too many specifics I guess I am a little paranoid of someone with more knowledge and execution experience taking my idea and running with it. That may be a little over superstitious of me but until I get further educated I want to hold my cards close to my chest.

But taking your advice... Stan you may appreciate this... I just got back from a long trip in Asia and it was absolutely amazing. I went to gain a little perspective on where I wanted to go moving forward... and, for some fun. Anyway when I returned I thought about what made the experience so special. One major thing was the hostel experience that I had while traveling. Since I was alone during my travels staying in a hotel, which I did a couple of times, was quite lonely.

So I have this idea that I would love to try and bring my hostel experience to the states. So many people I met were looking to travel to the states but it was too expensive or their option was couch surfing which they found to be a little intimidating. It's only an idea right now and it might be a crap one but at least its a direction that I want to pursue. So with that in mind I want to be able to understand purchasing RE. I figure that would be a good starting point. To understand how to buy a building, how to identify a good deal, drawing a contract or whatever the case would be. I feel that would be a good place to start.

This whole thing is seriously just the beginning and it may turn out to be something that just simply doesn't work out but I feel it is a direction to take and a vision to follow. It may even evolve into an AirBnB ordeal or rentals or something like that. Again I am literally just a man with an idea and the will to pursue it.

I am not working right now as I just returned and I have plenty of time to educate myself. Matt/Dorothy do you know of any meetings or groups that I might be able to join just to network and meet some people in Denver?

Any suggestions?

Hi All,

I recently was stuck in the "Rat Race" in Chicago and I quit my job, moved to Denver and looking for a fresh start both professionally and academically so to speak. I have a few ideas that I am eager to make projects of mine as part of my future goals and I could really use the help of a Mentor who is willing to deal with the hardships of working with a green horn. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
