Hi Kip!

You and I are in the same boat. I am new to this game and am working to get my first deal right now. Wish I had some sage advise to give other than to just keep plugging away. Hope to be back on the forums one day soon with some experiences to share.

Best,

Colin

I am wondering the same thing but I see you posted this question over four months ago and no one has answered.

I would buy the membership if there was something comparable to Property Farm offered here.

That's an intriguing story William. So, you actually moved a house? I had not thought of that as it seems to me it would be cost prohibitive. I might look into that one.

I do think mobile homes are a sure thing though.

Thanks for the warm welcome William :D

Cheers!

Colin

Wow Jeffrey! Thank you so much for the pointers.

I hope I am able to one day return the good deed or at least pass it on.

Blessings. Here to the future - cheers :D

Welcome Trevor!

I too am a noob. Looks like we'll be learning the ropes on a similar timeline.

I would wish you luck, but you do not need that, you just need to Labor Under Correct Knowledge.

To your success. Cheers!

Thomas and Christopher,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I must admit that I am quite apprehensive about my first deal. I found a little property already in a neighborhood right next door to mine. I spoke with a RE agent who said it is still in pre-foreclosure and the bank is planning to rehab and turn it themselves. Says he will call me if it becomes available. This is a little disheartening but I am not willing to let it stop me.

Thomas, thanks for the CAP advice. I'll do some research tonight.

Chris, we should meet sometime since we are in this fight together here in Lexington.

Be blessed and stay in touch.

Best,

Colin

Hello Everyone!

I am excited about joining this group and what it will mean for me and my family. I am 39 years old, married to the most wonderful wife who has been home schooling our four children from the beginning, and eager to get out of the proverbial rat race. I hold a bachelors degree in health care administration and most of my work experience revolves around working in the health care industry, either military or civilian. I do have experience in a lot of other areas as well but very little in real estate.

I am pretty much brand new at this game and would like to get into flipping homes here in Lexington and Columbia, SC. I would like to do the following:

1. Flip my first property by the end of this Summer for at least a $10K profit
2. Eventually get to the point of flipping a property per month (minimum) for at least a $10K profit.
3. Build long term wealth through rentals. I am thinking I would like to get into ownership of a mobile home park.

Any advice is welcome.

I hope to one day be a veteran who can offer others in the forums sage advice from real life experience.

Here's to the future! Cheers :D
