CCREIA just changed their meeting location to the  UNCW Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship 803 College Rd. Wilmington on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30-8:30PM. ccreia.wildapricot.org (this website hasn't been updated to reflect the change)

NCREIA also meets monthly in Wilmington https://www.ncreia.com/Events.aspx?ID=Wilmington-Main-Monthl...

The BP meetup in Wilmington is tomorrow 1/7 at 5:00 at Mad Mole Brewing. CCREIA meets on the first Thursday of the month, so February is the next one.

Jenna, there are several RE investor groups that meet monthly here. CCREIA, NCREIA and BP are three that I attend most months.

The BP community here in Wilmington is a good resource for STR information. Several members have had a lot of success with that strategy. Look us up when you get here. We have a monthly meet up where you can network and get questions answered.

Congrats! Burgaw may be a small town but there is a lot of tenant demand in the area and not much inventory.

Beach areas or the downtown Wilmington area? We've got several BP people in the area that do one or the other, but they are different animals/strategies/city rules here.

I'm in Wilmington, NC and would happy to talk shop. This is an old thread, but since we revived it..... Wilmington can be tough to make the numbers work these days but there are several areas within 45 minutes from here that can work, they just tend to be lower equity growth opportunities.

@Solomon Rosenberg unfortunately I think there are a lot of neighbors policing this in Wilmington right now so the city will know pretty quickly.
