I have a property in West LA that I would like to use for short term vacation and/or executive rentals.

I would welcome any comments, insights or experience anyone has on hiring property management companies that specialize in vacation rentals.

1,000 sq ft home and renos will include deleting wall between kitchen and dinning and vaulting living ceiling, gut and redo of existing kitchen and existing bath and addition of a second bath, new flooring through out, new door and window package. Exterior will include two deck additions, demo and redo of concrete drive, patio and sidewalks. 18 x 20 garage to be finished as studio and include addition of 1/2 bath. Existing exterior fence and landscape to be demoed and redone. 

Turn-key wanted as far as securing bids, selecting GC and managing budget and timeline including site visits 2-3 times per week.

If also paid based on budget (i.e. the higher the budget the higher the pay), doesn't that put you in conflict with managing the budget?

Extensively renovating a SFH on the westside of LA that will be used for short term rentals. Looking for Project Manager/Construction Manager to oversee project - including securing GC bids, manage GC and oversee overall project including budget and timeline. Any referrals or recommendations greatly appreciated.

Also, any thoughts on how they are typically compensated? Project fee? % of rehab budget?

@Manolo D. Thanks for the tip. I 'll reconsider strategy with that in mind. Any contractor you would recommend for the job??

Closing on a small, 1000 sq ft SFH in West Los Angeles near Venice. Will be a buy, reno and hold property. Would appreciate any referrals from the BP network on contractors you might recommend for this project. Will include new kitchen, new bath, complete window/door package and exterior redesign to convert 50's home into a contemporary, quintessential Venice beach rental.
