@Alyssa Dyer Thank you for the advice. Im only just starting out, Im tring to finish both of Brandon Turners books before meeting up with the local investors from Bigger Pockets this month. However, I would love to take some time out to have coffee and speak about some stratagies that could be useful for the position I'm in. Currently I'm limited to risky hard money lending or wholesaling without my RE license, due to lack of connectintions.

I like many others have all the questions and no one to ask about how to start investing in real estate. What are some pro tips that we should learn to take full advantage of Bigger Pockets forums, blogs, and podcasts to help streamline our success and not waste time on things that we dont need to.

Hey Cassi my names Colby I'm trying to get my feet off the ground in OKC also, Yukon more specifically, I've been studying up with podcasts books and the good old white board but I would love to join some meet ups also. Maybe even find something of a mentor. Where can I find out where these meet ups happen?
