My wife and I own townhouse in Hilslboro near Intel (off Brookwood) and we are looking at potentially using a HELOC on the townhouse (>100k in equity) to eventually purchase our next primary residence while keeping the townhouse as a rental. Curious if anyone who owns rentals in the area has comments what it is like to own rentals here. It's a 3bd 2.5bath 1560 sqft 3 level townhouse and my total payment on it including taxes and insurance is only $1216/month hence the desire to try renting it.

Also if anyone has recommendations on management companies as well that'd be awesome. Looking more like late Spring timeline wise but want to try and get stuff figured out before then.
