Thank you all for the welcome, Im excited to be a part of this comunity!

My name is Cody Coffin and I am a new member from the south east side of Kansas City Missouri. Me and my wife are both Army veterans and parents of three awesome little ones. We were on active duty for 4 years stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington state. I currently work in the Hvac industry, and my wife is a stay at home mom. We are interested in Real estate investing primarily because of the freedom it can provide to enjoy the most important things in life. We are planning to homeschool our children and I would like to be a big part of that. The potential for passive income real estate provides would allow me to take time off work and get involved with my childrens schooling. I also want to lead by example in giving my kids a good finacial/entrepreneurial education. I first started looking into real esate investing because our landlord in Lacey Washington was a nice mom in a mini van and I instantly thought "we could do this",  I stumbled upon Bigger Pockets a couple years back on a google search. I have been reading and listening to the content ever since.  We are interested in local small multifamily properties to get started. We have a down payment and add to it weekly. My goals for this year are to buy my first property and expand my network. Thank you for reading!

Getting ready to sell a property we own in Omaha NE. We currently have a tenant renting the property however she has not signed a lease this year. We want to sell the property for max value and may have to remove the tenant to do so. Is any one familiar with landlord tenant laws in Omaha? We definetly want to remove her in the correct manner if needed.
