Depends on the area around the base. It’s hit or miss. I’ve sold a few around there recently and amazed at the price increases, even on wholesale deals.

Also, if you’re looking to target military renters, hopefully your agent will give some honest brokering on if properties are suitable or not. There’s a lot that are not.

What: How to Analyze Homes and Estimate Repairs for Fix-n-Flip Opportunities

This month we will be hosting Mike Hamby. He is the owner of Hamby Housing LLC started investing 6 years ago in Ohio. Mike quit his IT job after reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," and then became a real estate agent strictly working with investors. He bought a Homevestor franchise 4 years ago that allowed him to become a full-time investor. He moved to Pensacola 1.5 years ago. Now he continues to be a full time investor mostly flipping Single family houses. He is also a licensed real estate agent that he uses to list his own houses and has 3 members on his team. He has flipped over 50 properties himself and sold over 90 properties for other clients and is starting to focus on building a rental portfolio.

Mike will be discussing how to analyze properties and rehab costs for fix and flip opportunities.

@Michael Hamby is correct. Best benefits come from paying yourself a salary out of your S Corp. That’s how I do it for the real estate business as well.
