Ok great. Good info. If the sites I mentioned is not what I should look into what should I do to find properties? My plan today is to drive for dollars to see what I come up with.

Hey guys! Just joined BP yesterday and read the beginner guid last night. Been glued to this all day yesterday and today. I wanted to find a group to join near me or hell I'll just start one if I can't find one. I really do believe that putting heads together will propel us into this. I got into this for my 2 year old boy that I Just want to see grow up instead of being in a dealership all day and just seeing pics of the moments I missed. Im not sure if the deal I did 3 years ago on a property in Prosper that I still have to date. So I'm going to say I still have not done a deal yet. I'm very motivated and excited to get going, so if you are interested in spear heading the market lets put our heads together. If you know of a group in the area I could join or look into please let me know.

I'v been stuck in the car business for the last 13 years and decided I wanted to see my 2 year old grow up. So I jumped head forward into this without a clue on what to do first or a plan. The great thing for me is That I gave myself a nest egg before doing so but now have hit a wall. Now luckily I came across bigger pockets. Could someone point me in the right direction as to analyzing deals? What should I look for starting off and how to compare comps? It seems that I should be looking for an agent first so that I'm not oblivious to the MLS or should I just stick to the sites like Zillow, Red Fin, and the other sites that I do have access to?

Had to say hello because I as well just decided to jump into real estate 100% and thought it would be good to try and network a little in my area. Just came across your post and wanted say hi.
