Has anyone delt with a hard money lender then financing at the end to a traditional bank? Was the process difficult,  would you do it again? What are some things you learned. I am thinking about using hard money to fund my new build but once completed refinancing thru a traditional bank to get a longer loan and a more favorable rate.

Are there any banks in SC in general that finances owner/self builds? Have been reaching out to different banks and it seems like alot of them have either paused or stopped completely.
