Post: Municipality planning to rezone my property

Hello. I am new to this forum and am a new investor as well. My property (currently I am residing here in WI but also want to rent) is being possibly rezoned from residential to Commercial/Mixed Use and I just discovered this information. Could someone help me understand what this means for me? I wanted to possibly live here myself into older age and later rent it. I have already started a rental LLC with a partner in another state, but we are still new to this business. Emailing my municipality twice and no response. I am unsure how to learn about my situation. I did not want to move or sell anytime soon but fear that this option has been taken away from me. Thank you for any insight.
