From one Chris to another, welcome. I too am still fairly new and looking to do my first deal in Morristown or Montclair. If you need any help or want to get together in the future, I'm only about 30 minutes from Parsippany.

I have not yet, but am planning on using either that or a similar product to finance the multifarious I am currently looking for.

      I found this article that gives some good info. It's a tutorial designed for the lenders, but it does a pretty good job of explaining the process in detail. If anyone has any experience with this type of loan as Evan and Alex said, I too would be very interested in hearing about it.

Hey Everyone,

      My name is Chris, I live in Morris county NJ, and I am new to the world of real estate investing. I am currently learning everything I can so that my girlfriend and I can buy our first house. I am trying to find a property, possibly in the Montclair area, that will be a multifamily house that we can use to pay our mortgage for us and start our investing career off strong.
