Post: I'd like to start buying investment properties

Hi!

I'm just starting to learn about different options for investing.  Seems like owning and renting properties is a way to go.  Looking for help and advise on getting started.  My husband and I each had a property when we met.  So we're renting out the condo, it's finally breaking even, but it wasn't purchased with the intention of being a rental.

I live in Orange County CA, and I'd love any advise you have to give. :)

Hi, I live in southern CA, which I'm sure you know is quite expensive. I have family in NC and I was thinking about property out there. (5 year plan might include moving out there) I realize I would need someone to manage the property.

What are your thoughts? Is there a better state to start in?

Thanks for your help!
