@Kiera Underwood Hey thanks for the advice. Iā€™d say that the criteria that I have right now is just along the basic criteria so areas with job growth as well as job diversity, family oriented areas, middle class to upper middle class income areas so I guess more suburban type areas. Possibly college towns as well but that would be a different market than what I am looking for right now.

I currently live in Westchester, NY and would love to invest here but with the prices of properties and with the way things are going in NY legislation, it no longer seeming like the place to invest for rentals, at least in downstate NY. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about analyzing other areas as potential areas for real estate investments?

Im looking at getting into rental properties through the BRRR method hopefully within the next year and want to practice running the numbers. Any advice on how to do so and what to consider?
