I am new to BP.  I am new to Dallas and looking to meet up with some current active investors in the area.  I'm interested in learning more about the areas of Dallas.  There are sooo many different areas.  Like to meet some investors and get to know some friendly people in the area.  

I am new to BP forum and looking for some assistance.  I am in the process of selling my home in PHX and moving to Dallas area.  We are looking at options for proceeds from our house.  We know we want to start investing in rentals.  I'm either going to have to rent in Dallas and look at rentals OR I was thinking I could find a house that needs rehab and fix it and refi it in 6-12months and get cash out to start buying rentals.  If anyone has experience doing this and/or advise I would be most interested in hearing from you.  And if you are in Dallas and would like a free coffee or beer, let me know and I'd love to start meeting some investors here in Dallas.
