Thank you for the warm welcome! Currently reading the Biggerpockets ultimate beginner's guide and learning things already. Hoping to meet up with like minded individuals soon!

@Michael Rinaldi suggested actually suggested exactly what I was considering this whole time. Unfortunately I have no idea how to measure a property for value, what an FHA loan is, or how much to put down on a house.

I absolutely will be taking advantage of the key word tool list. I already updated it to inform me of anything mentioning westchester and Westchester,NY!

Honestly I'm just looking for like minded people willing to share their experiences so I can in turn hopefully be successful and do the same for the next batch of aspiring real estate investors.

My name is Christian Reyes. I am a graduate admissions counselor for a major NYC university. I am on here because I have always wanted to be a real estate investor but never really understood how to go about it.

I would like to create long term financial stability from real estate investing in the form of multifamily rental properties. I currently have no experience whatsoever in real estate and have rented apartments since I left home.

I came to learn about biggerpockets from searching around on the website for real estate investment advise. I stumbled upon an article that had referenced this site so I figured I'd give it a try.

I look forward to learning about real estate and have planned to take my first real estate class mid April.
