I was seeking pre-qualification on a fixed rate from a local broker, and he is telling me if I purchase personally (vs. LLC), I will need 25% down for a duplex, triplex or quad. Does this sound right?

Hello bigger pockets community! I am a new pro member here and new to real estate investing. I'm in the first stages of putting together my "core team", and getting funding together for my very first deal. Of course, this includes networking and learning as I go. Any mentors out there? Would like to get together over a cup of coffee and learn about your experiences.
