What can I do with 15k cash between the surrounding areas of Austin and San Antonio ? what would any experience investor due with this cash ? Is this enough to get started as a newbie what do you guys think ? single family , duplex , 4 flex ? I heard about an FHA, 203k loan any advice will be much appreciated

Are there any FHA officers who physically come check on you ?

or is this a grey area ?

if I acquired a 4 plex apartment through an FHA, am I allowed to Air bnb my unit out for a weekend if I go on vacation ?

thank you bruce , one more question if I acquired the 4 flex investment through FHA and were physically occupying the unit and I decided to go on vacation for 2 weeks to a month can I Air bnb during that time ?

I like the Idea of Purchasing a 4 flex using and FHA loan, I do understand that it has to be owner occupied for at least 1 yr before you can Refi , my question is how would FHA know your living there ?
