Post: Fire Damaged Property Condemned By City

Recently found a nice property, great potential except that it’s been through a house fire and is now condemned by the city. Does anyone know how I would go about getting the house sold with no actions from the city? Will I have to bring the house up to code before I find a buyer or is it the buyers responsibility?

P.S I’m calling the city to see why it is condemned unlivable, no violation code was left on the order.

Found an abandoned run down house, sitting on a nice size lot. It look like it’s been abandoned for a few years so you can imagine the current condition of the property. Possibly needs $40K+ put into it if not more. Is it worth the risk of getting under contract?

It’s hard finding a good deal here in my market and I was looking into trying virtual wholesaling in a different market. As I’m new to the wholesaling game, I’m wondering would this be a good idea? If not, any tips on putting a team together?

New to real estate and I want to know if a title company or an attorney is better for closing a deal?
