Post: DC Metro Newbie - Looking for a Mentor

Good morning everyone -

I am a newbie, in terms that I have not purchased my first investment property, with indecision paralysis. I was hoping to find a mentor who could help me through the first purchase and how to grow/scale my business. I am looking at the buy-and-hold market, BRRRR and long term rentals.

Thank you!

- Chris

Does anyone have experience with Ashland Auction? They work out of Baltimore Maryland.

I am a still looking for my first deal and have identified quite a few houses they have available as good options, but am hesitant about the 10% sellers premium as well as the process of going through an auction.

Good morning everyone! Does anyone have experience with Section 8 housing in Baltimore city or Section 8 in general? I have found some resources online from the city, but I was hoping to find someone with real world experience.

I am looking to understand how long the process takes to register a new property as Section 8, the pipeline of tenants, turnover %.

Thanks!
