Cleveland is one of the areas I’m looking into as well. Does anyone have a great PM there they can recommend?

Is this mainly for investors who are investing locally or are there folks doing out-of-state investing as well?

I'm looking to connect with fellow investors who invest out of state as long term buy and hold in good cash flow markets.  What areas have worked for you?  How do you like the team you work with?  How did you find your team?  What are some lessons you have learned along the way?

I'm just starting out with real estate investing.  I live in San Diego and I'm looking to invest out-of-state in a nice cash-flow market.  My focus now is finding the right team and location.  Are there any other folks here living in San Diego willing to share their experiences with out of state investing?  Or any local groups I could join to find fellow investors?

I'm also new and looking at Indianapolis as an option.  I live in CA, so I'll need to find a team I can trust.  Does anyone here have recommendations?

I plan to invest out of state and I'm  concerned about finding a property management company I can trust and  turnkey sounds appealing, but I've heard there are many shady ones out there.

I’m new to real estate investing - as in, I’m doing research, but I haven’t actually started yet! I live in San Diego, so I’m planning an out-of-state long-term buy and hold strategy with the goal of cash flow. I’m thinking of getting 3 properties to start and hopefully grow that over time. I know location is important but I think the most important first step for me is to find an excellent team I can trust. My plan is to interview property managers in areas that seem interesting and use that process to help narrow down the location. I don’t have anyone in my personal network that does real estate investing or property management. I’m hesitant to pick people without referral. And I’m also not sure how willing other investors are to share/introduce their rock star team. What are some ways to grow my network and meet other investors or property managers? I have joined some facebook groups and meetups. Are there any other networking groups for this type of thing?
