Absolutely, the good news is that we didn’t buy it for the purpose of income. It was a thought once we realized how little we are actually there. I offer it free to all family and friends, just a shame to leave a beautiful home empty.

There are times when we wouldn’t be in the home for a month, so furnished finder makes sense but dates have never quite aligned.
thats fair to say im trying to skirt hoa rules, its my first experience with an hoa so im just trying to navigate it.
thank you for your response.

Hi, we have a second home in Oregon that we only utilize every other weekend.
We did not do our due diligence regarding the HOA rules and found out after purchasing that we are not allowed to do short term rentals.
I posted on Furnished Finder to try to get some weekly renters, but no luck there.
Any thoughts on other alternatives or experience doing short term rentals even with HOA  restrictions?

Thanks in advance!
Chris
