@Kyle_Horjus I’m in the same boat as you, and have been seeking a group in the area for the same accountability and to learn from others about their first hand experiences with out of state properties and turn-key investment strategies. I’m not sure how to message you directly, but please include me on the WhatsApp thread if you do start one. @Ali_Boone I’m definitely interested in finding more about your company Hipster Investments, and would like more details about where and what time the group meets up in the Westside. Thank you for sharing the info. -Christine

@LindaDalton Your experience may be enough to motivate me to finally dive into REI—I think I may have a bit of ”analysis-paralysis”. I am also looking to self manage and lookin for some tips. Did you purchase the roofstock properties that had tenants in place? What was the transition like? Or how long was it until you found good tenants? And what was your marketing/screening process like & how were you doing this from out of state? Thanks for the advice.

Post: How best to invest $25K?

Hi, I'm a newbie who hopes to be able to eventually create a passive income stream through buying small condos to manage as rental units. I'm also interested in finding out about other ways to invest with less capital (less than $25k). I am a new homeowner, and we just purchased our home in Los Angeles as a cash buyer with no mortgage. I just took out a $100k HELOC to build a pool in our new house, but am considering using part of it to reinvest in real estate. Looking for advice for how to best invest between $25k - $50k. Should I consider out of state properties to buy/rehab/rent? What cities? Thank you!!!
