Chris Bedgood is one of the stars of the hit reality TV show 'Flipping San Diego' on A&E and FYI channel. He is a real estate investor, developer, flipper, wholesaler, landlord, Realtor, as well as a sought after speaker, mentor and author and Founder of the Real Estate Veteran Training Academy. Chris will be on hand to talk about his book 'Veteran Flipper - A Real Estate Investors Flags to Riches Journey' where he talks about his life story, as well as the ups and downs of flipping houses, as well as many insider secrets that only an experienced investor could know. 'Chris will also talk in-depth about some of his 'Bedgood-isms' for success in business and in life such as 'Don't be Afraid to Fail. Instead be afraid of Not learning from your Failures. Failure + Persistence = Success.'

Chris does not consider himself a guru and isn't selling ANYTHING. He just wants to give back to the REIA community that helped him get started in the business. He has been honored to speak on the same stage as Bruce Norris and other noted SoCal speakers and mentors. Chris has bought and sold millions of dollars worth of property and considers himself a Real Estate Entrepreneur who is always learning and growing and surrounding himself with like-minded, successful entrepreneurs. If you want to hear from someone with no college education, no money and no rich uncle who was able to turn raw motivation into financial success, then attend our next meeting October 20th. Chris will speak and also answer questions and try to help motivate new and experienced investors to get to the next level. If you are looking for more than a 'How TO' meeting, then don't miss this one! And as a Bonus For attending Chris will give you access to his book Veteran Flipper... FREE

This months speaker is Jack Fullerton who has an extensive and long background in real estate. Jack Fullerton was a successful; internationally known Swimming and Water Polo Coach who never played Water Polo in High School. Through study and application he had taken his teams to a number of State and National Titles. He was named Water Polo Coach of the year for 1983. After earning Bachelor and Masters Degrees at U.C.L.A., Jack continued to study under Olympic Coaches until he was able to compete with his mentors. His education in real estate is equally as extensive. He was a member of the Academy of Real Estate where he received the Pathfinder Award. He has been listed in Who’s Who in Real Estate. In 1997 Jack received the MEA award from the Phoenix Foundation. After 8 years of investing in real estate part time he retired from his college position. That was over 25 years ago. He presently teaches and shares the principles of his success.

He was the leader of the Commonwealth of Orange County for the past 30 plus years where many successful real estate investors and instructors have learned the principles of successful real estate investing. Jack was an Executive Marketing Director for over 5 years with Jim Rohn Productions.

Jack started buying single family homes years ago in one of the most expensive housing markets in the country, on his income as a college professor and coach. Even worse, he started buying in the early 80s when interest rates were between 14% and 21.5%. He has acquired personal wealth and knowledge through the study and practice of creative real estate. Known as a problem solver, he has acquired millions of dollars of real estate over the years.

Jack is a firm believer to be successful you must study success. He has shown by his results, in more than one field, anyone through study, increased knowledge, desire and application can become successful. Jack enjoys sharing and teaching these principles of success to others. He will show you step by step how he has successfully invested in real estate. More important, he will show you how you too can accomplish the same. His investment techniques DO NOT REQUIRE A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY

Jack has become the 'Real Estate Coach'. His motto is 'CAN DO'. If a Water Polo Coach can, why can’t you become financially successful?

Twice a year we include an Economic Update and a review of Market Conditions. Our meetings are fun, engaging, and informative.

David Tilney has owned and operated single-family houses for 38 years. He understands that real estate, if vacant, is not an asset but a liability. He also believes that his tenants are his greatest assets. David views his tenants as his on-site resident managers who are compensated with good long-term housing. Empowering tenants has allowed David and his wife, Mary, to spend 8 months each year in Naples FL and 4 months in Colorado Springs, without the need for any employees.

In 1984 David became a tenant and rented a house for 35 years, which he then sub-leased for a profit. By the end of 1996 David had leased and sub-leased over 100 houses. This business model has been so successful that one of his daughters and her husband support themselves and their family doing the same thing, as do many others who have studied and learned David’s systems.

John D. Rockefeller once said, “Own nothing, but control everything.” David has found master leasing to be a great way to control most of the benefits of real estate without all of the liabilities.

Please find below some bullet points that David will walk through during his presentation:

Do you need ways to create cash flow with little or no capital?

Is fixing and flipping riskier today because of higher prices paid to acquire properties?

Are you nervous now to take on additional debt?

Is wholesaling difficult in a market where retail price bidding wars are becoming the norm?

Are you anxious about dealing with tenants and toilets?
