The title tells it all. I am looking to shadow experienced investor in South FL. I have always been more of a hands-on learning type of person as opposed to reading books. I am pretty sure no one will reply or take up my offer but worth a try. I can definitely become an asset in the future. I was always taught to be loyal to those who help me.

Quote from @Tom S.:

@Christian Requejo  Typically there aren't any restrictions on how you want to use your cash once the Heloc has closed.  I personally would go that route as it would probably be less expensive.  Construction loans have a fair amount of fees involved.

I figured the same thing. I appreciate your help and input.

Thank you.

Good afternoon, everyone I hope all is good. My wife and I need a bigger home and we have an opportunity that presented itself. A very good opportunity and it just makes sense to build a new home on this lot since our family continues to grow. The only way I can access is money is through my primary residence and doing a HELOC. Will the banks allow me to use the money to build a new home? After the new home is built, I plan to sell our primary house. Or is a construction loan a better way of accomplishing this?

Thank you

I am 40 years old and have no experience on investing. For many years I have always wanted to learn. I understand the type of investments are many to choose from, however, there has to be a good book or course that can truly teach someone new to real estate. I have found many books are full of crap. Who is teaching right now the nut and bolts of investing in rental properties? I am sure this is asked all the time in many different ways. But there are so many scams, and you never know. You go on these websites, and they look real, and you think "hey why not let me give it a try". And right now, with social media it has made it very easy for these fake guru's, mentors to steal people's money. But I am a very hopeful person and I feel like there are honest people out there willing to teach. Let me know if anyone can reference or refer me a good course that breaks this investing down step by step and a community that goes with it to help during transaction.

Thank you.
