@Karen Margrave I am pretty happy buying in "not great" areas and trying to make improvements. We have been targeting south redding, downtown, and east cypress. I am amazed by your projects, I saw a picture of a property I drove by with the seasonal pond the other week on your site, did parlay build that? Amazing!

@Brandon L. Thanks for the greeting, and loved the blog posts, very helpful!

Hey Karen! That is an amazing amount of experience you have. I am just now getting into 2-4 unit multifamily and trying rehab those properties. I would like to get into syndicating and rehabbing  larger developments (30+ units) and my super end goal would be to bring tech jobs into Redding somehow.

Also, yes that's most likely my Dad!

I just realized this as I was sending requests to every in Redding. The BP interface didn't make a suggestion to send a personalized message it just has the "Connect" button and off it goes. Due to ignorance on my end, a lot of people are going to be getting blank connection requests :)

Thanks @Mike Krieg I have been at it for about two years now absorbing information from BP while saving up cash. Very excited to grow.

Hey Brandon, my current target for multifamily is ~115000 per unit depending on condition. I have managed an average of 12% cash return which is ok with me right now since I am rehabbing and there is a higher cost involved and loss to lease. However I am always trying to improve. I care about my home town and improving the area is also a priority.

My main concern is getting enough cash flow to free me of the need for my W2 income.

Hello Everyone. I am a real estate investor currently a software engineer living in Santa Clara but born, raised, and investing in Redding CA. I am mostly interested in multifamily BRRRR due to the number of worn out properties and high rental demand.

Eventually I plan to use syndication to get larger properties.

Are there any other investors working in the area? I would love to connect! Happy to be here.
