 Hello Andrew!

It sounds like getting out of the "rat race" is a huge push to investing your time and money into REI. The realization that working in the same industry as an employee is not a sustainable option for life! Time is a huge factor when considering how to maximize it.

I personally have seen many of the older generation that are still working for a "paycheck" because they entrusted their time and effort to working for 40-50 years as an employee. And the result was to have to continue to work after retirement because a combination of inflation, insufficient amount of money from Government/Company retirements, and lack of TRUE ASSETS. This is a huge 'why' for me to become an Expert RE Investor so I can share my knowledge with both young and older generations so they do not have to live pay check to pay check and miss out on Life itself!

Thank you again for your response!

Hi there Steve!

Freedom is the true American Dream!

I believe through hard work, dedication, and persistance, REI will open the door to many opportunities of Freedom for all who tackle this Journey in life!

 Thanks for the response Mohamed!

It sounds like the opportunities of being independent is tremendous factor in you becoming a real estate investor! As well of course as providing a financial security to your family.

These are great reasons to want to begin the Journey of Real Estate Investing and are similar to my 'whys' of REI. I believe it is important to enjoy life while we have the opportunity. Being in retail myself for over 10 years, being trapped inside a building for 8-10 hours a day is not, IMO, the way to "live" and explore life. I know if we stick on this path of gradually building our portfolios, we will definetly accomplish these goals of being financially free!

Hello Elizabeth!

I wanted to start off by saying my prayers are with your child and family in the recovery and stability of his health! Your reason "why" is truly selfless and noble in every sence. I have no doubt that you will be able to develop business in REI to obtain this goal in life!

Time is a huge factor in my own persuit of becoming a Successful Real Estate investor. With the time spent at a w2 job, a lot of time is being spent to make other people rich, and having our money ate up by inflation and taxes. My hope is to utilize OPM and other people's time to spend more time with my family and friends and do activities that I am passionate about!

Thank you so much for your response!

There’s a cap to how high you can climb the corporate ladder, but my portfolio will grow forever, even after I die. My dream is generational wealth.

Hi there Jonathan! It seems to me that the importance of having an investment tool that has no "cap" is of high importance. The possibilities are endless when it comes to Real Estate Investing compared to the 9 to 5 or w2 job that limits to how high you can virtually take your career. Generational wealth can only seemingly be obtained through bussinesses/REI because you can not pass on your J.O.B to your family.

To me, my limits were what I was taught about how to be "successful" in life. Which was college, degree, and career in a corporate job. I was on a fast track to becoming a Store Manager for a major retail store in the past 2 years. When I thought about the repetitiveness, being "trapped" within the walls of the buildings for 10 hours a day, and the limit of creativeness I would have been able to contribute to the company, I knew in my soul this wasn't the path I was supposed to take. That's why I'm happy I found REI because the caps are limitless to what we can accomplish and grow in our pursuit of Financial Freedom!

Thank you again for your response!

I'm not sure it's an adrenaline rush, but it's close - I love spending hours online looking for properties, going out with my agent, doing re-fi's, reading up on the latest market trends, all of it. For me, it's also a pretty easy-to-understand way to invest (going deep on stock market investing puts me to sleep, so I have trusted advisers there) and I feel very confident in my ability to learn what I need to in order to be successful in this area.

Hi there Simone!

It sounds like the love of the chase is a huge factor when considering why you decided to persue REI! You find a thrill in the whole process which is very important especially looking at the numerous properties that need to be evaluated and that's awesome. This enthusiasm I'm certain will carry you forward to many more deals in the future and develop a spectacular portfolio!

Growing up math has always been my strong suit and I believe that's why I enjoy running the numbers on properties and finding out which ones have potential! I've also learned, through 8 years of management, that I enjoy developing relationships with others to reach a specific project. I hope to find/evaluate and build a business through numerous relationships to be successful in Real Estate investing!

Thank you so much for your response!

Hi Joe!

It sounds like the Corporate World wasn't in the cards for your future lol. I can't imagine the mental hurdles that is inloved with quiting the 9 to 5 and go off and create your own business, especially involving real estate investing! But it seems like taking that leap of faith and working towards what makes you happy has paid off in something worth more than money. The lessons extracted from your experiences has paid off in dividends im certain!

Even though I am still in my W2 job, I envision that day that I quit and venture off into full time REI. I look forward to the growing pains and lessons involved with creating a real estate empire and be able to pass the knowledge to many people, especially my family! I know it will not be an easy road but it sounds like it is very possible with self-descipline and to have more of a reason than just to quit being an employee.

Thank you again for your response!

Hi Brian!

Thank you so much for your response! It sounds like family and God have a huge impact on what Needs to be done when it comes to your ventures and duties. Its very powerful to see using your retirement vehicle not just as a way to simply "Retire", but also to protect your family after the inevitable event of passing over.

Family and the blessings of God have been a huge impact on my decision to start my own journey into Real Estate Investing. I found out not too long ago that I will be a father for the first time and can not wait to pass on my knowledge/investments on to my children and secure a financial future for them as well as my Fiance.

Hey Chris,

One of the biggest driving factors in my motivation for REI is my Grandfather. He built an impressive real estate portfolio over roughly 40 years and I spend my summers fixing/gutting/cleaning those properties. Growing up I found the value these properties give and the financial freedom it can provide. You have to love what you're doing in order to stay motivated.

Just my two cents!

Hello Joel!

It sounds like your Grandfather is a very inspiring person! To be able to continue through many different stages the real estate markets had endured over four decades is incredible. And what an opportunity to be a part of his journey and learn with hands on experience on how to manage/Fixup the properties!

My family (parents) were also a big motivator in the beginning of my REI career. My parents held 2-3 SFR properties for the last 25 years. My mom was huge on finances. Between the both of them, they only have around 80k left on their own house, and after that all their properties will be paid off Free and Clear.

Thank you again for response!
