Thanks for your advice @Victor Ayala this was great! I am Puerto Rican myself (never lived there) and have visited many times! After this devastation happened me and a few family members have been meeting to see if real estate investing is something we want to take on in PR. I can't wait for our next meeting so I can come with this new info about buying and holding as oppose to "fix and flip". I hope to be reaching out to you soon!

I use to be this person! Then i read "Richest Man in Babylon" changed my life. I highly recommend it to everyone whether you have the $400 to spare or not lol. Money/cashflow is like a loaded gun, the damage OR security in provides all depends on the person holding the weapon. That's my sensei knowledge for today. ;)

Hey guys! I live in South FL and am planning on buying my 1st duplex. Should I apply for a loan as a 1st time home buyer or should I apply as an investor. I do plan on living there but only until i complete the rehab and find renter. Help i'm still in training wheels!
