Hello BP,

I am thinking about joining a few local REIAs. One of which is free to join, the other has a membership cost. I've heard that some of these associations are in it just to collect fees and do not offer much value. Does anyone have any feedback, both good and bad, on joining REIAs.

@Andrew Kwiatkowski its good to see other from the area here on BP. I currently do not attend any local REIAs but I would be very interested in attending. I would appreciate some recommendations.

Hello BP.

I am a new member from the eastern panhandle of WV who looks forward to networking with like minded people in my tri-state area! I have been interested in real estate for a while and have learned a lot so far from BP. My goal is to build up a rental portfolio over the next 10 years. Also interested in flipping a few houses on the side.  I am a young profession who just started as a multi-line insurance agent so I would love to hear any questions and/or concerns regarding insurance as it relates to real estate investing.
