Is there a way to find out what lenders investors have used on properties already purchased in a particular area? I've tried Listsource but obviously there's a cost involved. Was wondering if this was public information anywhere.

For instance, I'm looking for best local lenders in Cincinnati, but will eventually want to expand to other markets.

Hey BP,

I'm conducting a market analysis on San Antonio. Currently searching for Class C, multifamily properties between 150-220K range.

After reading up on the market, there are clear differences in the North, South, East and West areas of the city. pertaining to population demographics, employers, and construction/development.

If anyone has any recommendations on particular neighborhoods to that fit my description that would be helpful.

Thank you.

What method do you use to evaluate property tax and rental property insurance when evaluating MFH? Currently we’re evaluating properties in Ohio and Michigan but our property tax and rental property insurance estimates seem high. For property tax we look up current rates using Smart Asset. For the annual property insurance we are using $1,500 per $200,000 of asking price. We identified this formula FitSmallBusiness.

I'm looking to set up an LLC to purchase out of state properties. What is the best state to form my LLC? Should I set up in my home state of California or is it worth setting up in a different state?

I am looking to purchase a multi-family property in Ohio or Michigan but wanting to know what is the best source for lending out of state? Also, what are the typical requirements those lenders have?
