Another thing you can do is have yourself as a additional insured on every tenants renters insurance, so you will be notified if a tenant makes any changes to their renters insurance policy(or cancels it).

I sell insurance in Missouri and a $20,000 personal property $100,000 personal liability policy can be as low as $10 a month. It really is a great policy. I don't own any real estate yet but I do believe in insurance and renters insurance is something I would definitely recommend.

Hello everyone my name is Chris Marshall. Currently I sell insurance through State Farm but I'm looking into real estate. I am currently listening to the podcast about the ultimate beginners guide as I write this. After I get done with this I am going to look for the terms of the trade and try to gain some knowledge. I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone near me was on here. If anyone has any tips for a beginner I would be very appreciative.
