On top of selling us a wholesale deal, they provide access to a short term hard money lender (212 Loans) with rates as high as 13%, they also have connections with vetted contractors. They provide comps, projections, rehab estimates, and rental estimates.

Any advice on the following questions:

  • Has anyone done any deals with them in the Tampa Market?
  • Any suggestions on Hard Money Lenders in the Tampa area that are reputable?
  • Is a wholesaler worth utilizing for our first deal? Our market is starting to bubble, and we are having an issue finding listed properties through our traditional agent.

Thank you for your help in advanced! :-)

Hi Krishnan, hoping for an update on your experience with this company? Did you proceed with any deals through them?

I almost pulled the trigger on buying pro just for that alone, but I ended up using DealCheck for free instead.

Wow, I have not heard of this site before, will definitely check it out!

Hi Roy,

Thanks for your message, I am VERY green to BP- less than a week! It's great to hear your insight on how BP is beneficial to CA members. I am already finding my BP account beneficial in networking with other Canadian investors and accountants.

I don't believe it will be long before BP expands fully to CA.

 Chris:

As one of the longer-term Canadian BP members, I originally subscribed as "Pro" member to support Josh and his idea of BP.  There were only a single handful of us in those days and nothing on the site addressed Canada.

These days there is a whole set of Canadian forums (one for each province/territory and a national forum).

The BP calculators can be loosely applied to real estate in Canada, the financing will be sightly different here, but the results are close enough for initial triage.

There have been a few Canadian properties listed in the Marketplace.

The existing set of "Pro-perks" are almost exclusively U.S.A. oriented at this point.   Similar partnerships could be established in Canada, but BP would need someone {in Canada} to pitch and secure those partnerships.

Hi All,

I just joined BP a few days ago- still getting my feet wet. I'm a 28 year old Real Estate Developer from the Caribbean migrating to Ontario, Canada in August 2019. Hoping to meet some other Ontario investors/agents/accountants to create new partnerships and discuss new opportunities. I would also appreciate any advise or knowledge on new comers investing in Ontario.

Kind regards,

Chris
