Thank you for the help a title company sounds like the way to go, i will make a few calls and see what they say.

Does anyone know of such a form that the buyer and seller sign and then the buyer pays for the deed transfer etc?

I am the executor of an estate and they think it can be used in that case.

Thanks again for the help!

I will make this short. :)

I inherited a house a family member wants to buy it and has already made a offer. Is it possible to sell it without using a real estate lawyer? They seem to think there is a form we both sign and then the house would go over to them.

I don't think it is that easy. I am under impression i need a real estate lawyer to do the paper work and deed for the county. I would also like some paper work for them to sign so if they find a major issue with the house i have no responsibility.

Looking for advice.
