I sold my house Sub2 in 2013 when I retired from the military. The buyer has paid the note up until 2 months ago. He had tenants in the house for two years that destroyed it. Now he says he's walking away. It's a VA loan. I can't afford to take on his soup sandwich. The mortgage is 60 days late. Will the VA cover the deficiency if it forecloses. I don't want them to take my disability as I'm 80 percent disabled. He broke the contract. Is he liable for the repairs? or back payments?
