Can someone explain the @Chris Cook? I'm guessing it's a link, but how is it used? Sorry for the dumb question.

Looking at Topsail and wilmington areas.

I'm confident I can NOT limit myself to 2 weeks... it's the beach. I think a 2nd home is more likely to start. I'll just have to figure out the record keeping etc. Thanks for all the input. Calling a CPA to help figure all this out.

Unrelated to this whats the @Chris Cook do and how does it get bold? I'm guessing it's a link of some kind. I'm a newbie in case that's not obvious.

Just starting out investing and wondering, can I stay in the off-season of my vacation rental and still have it as a business? How would that work? Is it different if I have an LLC? Are there any good books out there that help understand this? Thanks for reading.

Been thinking of investing for awhile and think it's time to get off the chair. Thinking of vacation rentals on the NC coast as I don't think I want to deal with long term tenants and I like the beach! Not sure how this all works, so bear with me.
