Hi Jim,

Thank you for your suggestions. Yes, that is the contract. I'm going to try for the extension tomorrow but communication hasn't been great between Title or the seller's agent due to the outages. Sorry, I should have provided more info. I am currently out of state and the mobile notary was scheduled for tomorrow but Title hasn't supplied the finalized packet yet because of the weather. Even if it was signed and mailed tomorrow with shipping delays it won't arrive in time. DocuSign isn't an option for some reason. They need the originals to close.

Hi BP, I am a long-time follower and I am excited to now be a Pro member. I am scheduled to close on my personal home in TX and it looks like my close date will be missed due to the weather. I suspect the seller might have a higher backup offer they want to take if I miss my close date. Do I have any protection due to the weather/power outages for a postponed close date or any other options?

Thank you so much in advance!
