Hi guys, I love the conversation on boots on the ground and remote partnership.  I'm actually in a new partnership like this with former teammates in another state from where I live.  The deal we worked out is that they will match me 50/50 on dollars put into properties we bought through an Incorporated and I would own 75% of revenue/cost, and they would get the other 25% and rights to manage the properties to grow their PM company.  It seems like a good deal to me, but I'm a newbie to real estate partnerships.

Is this a good deal for myself and them, or is there something both parties should ask for?

@Dash Siva

I'm still looking at other states in the US (Texas, Florida, Arkansas, and California eventually).

Thank you @Dash Siva webinars on YT and signed up for the  upcoming one on Wednesday.  I'm actually looking to purchase property outside of CA at this time, as I can get more value for my dollars in other markets.  I've already established an agent, realty company, and partnership in the area I'm looking to invest.  My partners are old rugby teammates from a men's team I joined after my collegiate rugby career.  We agreed to owning an Inc. where they will match me dollar for dollar on properties we invest in together, I will own 75% of revenue/cost, and in return they will get the other 25% and manage  all the props to grow their Property Management biz.  Please share your thoughts on this partnership.

Hello BP community,

My name is Chris Allard.  I'm originally from the Caribbean and moved to Houston, TX at the age of 10. After graduating college I moved my girlfriend (now fiancee) and I to sunny California almost 5 years ago in hopes of better opportunities.  I'm currently the Business Development Manager of a National Healthcare Agency here in Fresno.  My goal is to build a portfolio of rental properties that will allow me to pursue real estate full time to generate a million dollar realty company and beyond.  I've taken several steps (one is joining BP) at doing so, and plan to purchase my first multifamily unit very soon.  I found BP while educating myself from YouTube vids, audiobooks, and the podcast. I'm looking forward to my continue growth in real estate!
