Columbus, Ohio is a great market. It is slated to keep growing (more than 1 mill expected to move here within the next 20 or so years https://www.bizjournals.com/co...), but properties are still pretty cheap. There are no real D neighborhoods and many areas to choose from that are on their way up. I also think house hacking is a great way to go. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like!

@Evan Polaski, I think I'd like to focus on buy-and-hold investors and not stray too far from residential properties (2-4 family). What are your thoughts on choosing investors?

Hi all, 

My name is Chloe Teasley. Until very recently, I was a journalist (catch my work in Columbus CEO Magazine). Now, I am headed toward becoming a Realtor, and am currently working with and learning from some experienced Realtors and investors in Columbus with investment brokerage Reafco. 

My plan is to learn the ropes and get a solid foundation, eventually working with investors and investing myself.

In the meantime, I want to make connections and learn as much as I possibly can. Please send any and all advice, recommendations or thoughts my way about how to build that foundation.
