Quote from @Jasmine Hu:

As title, I am interested in following markets: (no particular order)

1. Raleigh NC

2.Wilmington, NC

3. Charlotte, NC

4.Richmond, VA

5.Virginia Beach, VA

6.Jasonville, FL

7.Tampa, FL

8.Knoxville, TN

9.Memphis, TN

Among those, Richmond/VA beach are closer to me. Yet I feel Raleigh and Charlotte NC would be better for appreciation.
As of FL, I am concerned with future insurance cost.

Any other ideas? Please share.

Timing wise, I feel we will get better idea at the end of 2023 or early 2024. Unless it is a great deal, no hurry for now.

Hi Jasmine - we have similar list for states.
I also am looking to invest in TN- but Memphis was not on my list. Would love to connect if you are open to it.

To your success,

Chi

I got free consultation on estate planning but it was from an out of state law firm. They recommended

1. Will for me and husband

2. Health Care PoA

3. Financial PoA

4. Trust - b/c we have kids

She did recommend going on wealth.com and creating my own (to your point @Jonathan Bock) - I'd like to see what else I might need.

My next step would be to reach out to their broker. Sounds like you've given the agent ample opportunity to respond.

Thanks Taylor! How do I do that? I don’t think the agent will share the Broker info.

You'd have to track it down. It should be clear which company they work for, I'd start by going to that company's website.

I would consider this the nuclear option with this agent, just to be clear. Again I'd only do it if I'd given the agent sufficient opportunity to respond.

I’ve resolved this with the Brokers help- thank you for the recommendation really appreciate  it!

Thanks Taylor. I found the Broker and called them. Let’s see where it goes. At this point there is no other option.

Hi!

I signed an exclusive agreement with an Agent that I want to terminate. The agent is giving me runaround and not agreeing to terminate the agreement. What options do I have? The agreement was for 1 property. But the agent included 2 MLS listings in the contract.
it’s for 2 huge markets in NC - I didn’t win the property I signed with the agent for. But the agreement runs through july 2024. I want out asap.

Yes. I read the agreement. The relationship has gone south.

Thanks,

Chi
