I am looking for a buyer's agent that has a good track record of working with investors. Any recommendations for the California East Bay Area? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for all the advice! I'll start calling once I've passed the test.

Greetings all,

I am taking classes to become licensed in Northern California. How do I go about getting access to the MLS once I am licensed? I do not want to work as a realtor.

Thank you for all the welcomes! I will be contacting you all personally as I have numerous questions about what areas I should be focused on. I'm looking at buy and hold rentals in the North And Central Oakland and Berkeley areas. I want to eventually get into flipping as I am able to do most repair work myself and am not afraid of sweat equity. I am currently in the process of studying for my licensing exam and doing market research by biking through neighborhoods and attending a few open houses. I do believe that there are definitely still opportunities for cash flow here in the East Bay. Correct me if I'm wrong but it's all about buying correctly?? I'm looking forward to any more suggestions anyone might have.

Greetings,

I am a newbie in the Berkeley, CA area looking for mentors and advice. I am hoping to purchase a few rental properties to start and am looking at single and multifamily (up to 4 units). I would eventually like to get into flipping some properties and am very handy with rehabbing. I am currently taking time off from my profession and have more than enough time to dedicate to learning as much as I can. I am ready financially once the right opportunity presents itself. Looking for some help in learning this market and getting started.
