I’m excited about my new full time career in real estate. Yes, this is not a hobby but a full time commitment to create a business that for the moment will concentrate on putting contracts on houses for buyers. It might be Single family, it might be Multi family but I plan to have a constant flow of profit producing houses under contract and I’m going to be looking for buyers to partner with. I’ll do all the marketing, negotiating and contracting. I’ve got some real estate experience and this is not my first business I’ve started so I’m familiar with what customers in general want from the start; They want a good and professional service built on honesty and fairness and I’ll take that approach and learn what real estate investors want. I’m concentrating my efforts to buy housing in St Tammany, Orleans and Jefferson Parishes of Louisiana. I’d love the chance to talk with you if you’re interested in partnering with me for profits on rehabs or rentals etc. Let me know.

Thanks James.  I currently use GoDaddy with other ventures. However, I've wondered if another company was more tuned to this wholesaling gig. I'll look in to GoDaddy again.

I'm interested in building from a template, a website to support my company. I look to invite sellers and buyers and provide multiple links to answer their questions and support them. Any suggestions on who I can contact? Thanks.

Bill G. I always find your comments filled with great suggestions and education. I mentioned the idea of meeting the elderly mans family to which you replied that it would be "way out of bounds". You might be right or you might be wrong.

My question to you is; why not try? If it were me, knowing that I'm asked to dish out 25k, from someone I know little about is quite a commitment. Personally, I'd have no problem asking the this potential partner and his wife (if applicable) to a casual lunch or dinner. My treat of course.
If Caleb feels uncomfortable doing so, then let him forego it but to dismiss it I think is taking a tool out of his chest.

Caleb. Check his name out on BP. Surf the web thoroughly using his name and location, meet his family and friends. Referrals he might offer aren't worth much in MHO but call anyway. Trust with verification is wise.

Amy - You are at the right place. As you can see from the above posts, BP is filled with helpful material and people. I'm new but will help all I can.

Hello Wendell,

I think BP (or someone) should put together a group of trusted, seasoned and ethical individuals ( call it a Board ) that would head up Mentorship or Coaching program. This board could set standards by which individuals can join and standards by which members of the program would adhere to i.e. conduct, educational information and even pricing along with the terms of payment etc. etc. Your thoughts.

J Scott, we are not talking about running to Starbucks get you coffee for free.  We talking about sharing the work load in a real estate transaction. I think it unfair for you to make a comparison. Can I think of situations that warrant doing something for FREE? Of course. This is not one of them.

So sure, if I were to hang with you on your work day and go to the car to get a pencil, sure take a 100% of the profit.
