Hey everyone, I am not new to bigger pockets I am just a lurker. I have been repairing my credit and am currently at a 700 Mortgage score. My husband and i want to invest in a property and i was thinking of going the conventional route (getting a loan and renting) I was reading up on the BRRR method, Although i don't have a complete understanding of it I think it is something that will not be hard to grasp. I have spoken with my bank and i can get a pretty decent loan with no PMI. I'm still juggling between a adjustable rate and a fixed rate mortgage. Also if i want to rent a duplex or live in one half and rent out the other. OR get a SFH and rent that out just to get my feet wet. It's really just up in air. I would like to hear your advice and perspective on what you think i should do. All recommendations are good ones..

Thank you so much for your time! look forward to reading your responses.

Hey everyone! So I am looking to learn the math when dealing with R.E., is there some special quadratic equation that I need to have handy to be able to calculate APR, interests, etc. how do I figure out how much to charge for rent, things like that... I have not had any success with finding any forums talking about this if you could please point me in the right direction

Hey everyone! So I’m planning to purchase my first rental unit, and I wanted to know your take on outsourcing PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. I’ve built a repertoire with my current realty company and they offer 8%per unit. Do you think I should keep everything DIY (ie turnovers, listings, etc) or give it to someone else to handle?
