Hello and welcome to the BP community. My name is Chelcie, and I work as a property manager for a real estate company in Jacksonville, Florida I am also a Lis. Realtor. Jacksonville is an exciting market and there are tons of opportunities here, as you probably already know. Tell me, what types of properties are you hoping to invest in?

Hey, I am a property manager and I work in the Jacksonville area. The comments that are listed above are great and the areas are amazing for rental tenants. Areas in the 32204, and parts of 32205 are hard to come by because of them being the "hip and trendy" areas at the moment. Murray Hill is a great area and we manage a few homes in that area currently. Also San Marco and St. Nicholas areas are great (32207). They offer great multi family units and St. Nicholas area also has great single family homes as well. I'd love to chat with you more about what Jacksonville has to offer.

Hye guys, Chelcie here, I have a quick question for you. I am in the Jacksonville, Florida area, and I am wanting to start a property managment company of my own.

1. Do I have to be a licensed real estate agent in order to open a property managment company?

2. Do  I need a broker in order to open a property managment company?

3. Does the broker need to own the property managment company in order for the business to be legal?

For example. Say the broker owns 123 Realty and I open ABC property management does the broker of 123 Realty need to own ABC property management for me work there?

4. Also does a broker need to in the office with me while we conduct business?

For example can the broker be in Tampa, Florida while  I am located in Jacksonville, Florida?

Thank you so much for your help!

Hello, everyone I have recently created a Linkedin profile for our real estate company. We are currently focusing on the property management side of things. I was wondering what types of tools I could use in order to grow my potential market. Are there any groups that I could follow in order to do that? Has anyone had any luck when it comes to using Linkedin? Thanks everyone for your help.
