Post: Best zip codes in Pearland and Cypress TX for appreciation

Hi @Tia Wilson!

I have one rental in Pearland (77581) and one in the Jersey Village area (just East of Cypress). My monthly cashflow in Pearland is greater than in JV, however the property consistantly needs more maintenance, as most of these houses were built around the 1930's VS 60s-90s in Cypress/JV.

Even so, the Pearland property value has increased about 30k since purchasing. The schools are great and I am looking to buy more in that general area because of how well it's treated me.

Happy to connect and chat further, especially with another woman in the biz!

@Tanisha Costello It will depend on what others are searching for as to whether you will end up on the 1st page. For example, if I search your name, you will most likely be the top spot. How high you show up on other phrases are dependent on how relevant Google percieves your website to be to the user's search. Relevancy will be based on the keywords and meta data included in your website.

A couple easy ways to improve your SEO ranking with Google:
-Link to outside, reputable websites on your personal site. This builds credibility and validity.
-Monitor your bounce rate. Google looks at bounce rate as an indicator of how relevant your website is.

Here is a good article with a full list of suggestions for rank improvement.

@Tanisha Costello Google has free high level courses, but it depends how in-depth you are looking to go. What is it that you are looking to do with your SEO knowledge?

@Adam Karr I was wondering the same thing.

Also interested in how you are securing financing through the BRRR method. From what I've read, I see it requires a loan for repairs/ purchase price which is then refinanced. Is the loan coming from a brick and mortar bank, hard money lender, etc.

Current landlord of 2 rental properties in Houston which were purchased with a conventional mortgage. Looking to expand my business quicker than this traditional way of purchasing allows. Appreciate your insight!
