Usually they are referring to good comparables to the target property. Its a way to get an understanding of what the price of the property should be. If its a 3 bedroom in a certain neighborhood, you should be comparing it to other 3 bedrooms in the same neighborhood with similar sq. ft. and features. Hope that helps.

One thing you could do to help with bookkeeping and such is to take an accounting class at your local community college. It's pretty cheap and will give u tons of info. Plus you could set the classes around your schedule for nightime, weekends, or online.

Anthony I don't agree I think pot will be more like pizza. Walmart sucks and is awesome for 1 reason you can buy a product say a hammer for 2 bucks or go to a local hardware store and pay $4 for the same hammer. Weed ok the other hand is like pizza sure the big chains are pretty good, we've all had papa johns before. But nothing compares to that small pizzeria quality. Trust me new yorkers know their pizza

Thanks for the welcome all. You raise a good point Harrison i guess people will tend to remember that a guy named Whitney doesn't matter what they think about you, just as long as they remember you. and the market in Hawaii is pretty stable, its not as bad as some of the markets on the mainland but right now is still going through a decrease in volume of houses sold, but the median price hasnt changed much at all.

Hi everyone, I am new to this site, but I have already cruised the site and im really impressed. A little about me, my name is whitney( yes i know, love my mom anyway lol) and im a former marine who now lives in Hawaii and am looking to start the next phase of my life as a REI. Ive known i wanted to be in real estate since i was in the 11th grade and now is the first time i have the time and determination to make it happen. I love knowledge and learning so any thought provoking thoughts about anything that has to do with real estate would be greatly appreciated. Dont know what else to say without rambling on so Hi and thanks for any words.
