Just starting out and planning on house flipping using hard money. They require an LLC to lend. Any recommendations for a good NYC / Long Island NY attorney to assist with creating an LLC properly?

I am a looking to purchase my first investment property, and I am giving serious consideration to turn key rentals in Birmingham Alabama. Being from NY, I have little to no knowledge of the areas in Birmingham. I am just scratching the surface of my research of the area, and wanted to get a feel for what any of you who have experience in this market think. Any areas to stay away from, etc??  The company I am thinking of working with is Birmingham Income Properties. Anyone have any experience working with them?

Any input is appreciated!!

Complete novice here that has decided to get into turnkey rental properties. I need to research the best areas to invest but I am unsure where to start. I am willing to invest long distance since I am priced out of the market I live (NY) for sure. Any help, tips, pointers are appreciated!

Good Morning all! My name is Charlie. I am from Long Island, New York. I work a full time job in Manhattan, I am married, with 2 kids, and I own a home. I have been sick and tired of the rat race, and have had enough. I figured I have no right to complain if I am not going to try and do something about it.  I am completely new to the real estate game, but the cash flow theory has lured me in. A co worker of mine put me on to BP, and explained how he learned alot here, and now has 2 properties under his belt.  I have been doing some research, and listening to podcasts the last few weeks. I have picked a nitch, that being buy and hold, and I am looking forward to getting started. I just don't think investing in the NY market is going to be doable for me, and I am thinking of looking in the areas surrounding NY (Jersey, PA, etc).

Any tips, advice, or lessons are appreciated!
