Post: MF property list - Yardi vs. Crexi?

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of purchasing a list for multifamily properties in my target markets (Austin and San Antonio). I'm focusing on commercial MF properties with 20 doors or more.

Listsource and Propstream are not giving me good results for my specific need. After talking to Yardi and Crexi, both of them seem to have good data source in this space (oh well at least based on their Sales Rep).

Yardi is a lot more expensive (>5k/yr only for my target markets) and Crexi is less than 3k and covering all markets.

Has anyone had experience with either of those two sites in terms of purchasing MF property lists? If you have other sources or suggestions that you are willing to share, that will also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your insights in advance!

Me and my business partner are looking at a multifamily property in Valdosta, GA. It's close to the Valdosta State University. Can someone share any insights about that area? From my initial research the crime rate is pretty low, but the income there is very low too. Any insights will be much appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I joined BP Pro a few weeks ago and would like to introduce myself. I live in the Bay Area and have a TH rental property in Fremont, CA for a few years. I'm looking forward to ramping up my real estate investment in 2023. I'm particularly interested in multifamily space, either in the Bay Area (where I live), LA (where I have a lot of friends and connection), or GA Atlanta area (where I went to school and familiar with). Would love to connect with folks here for general real estate investing as well as the particular segment/markets!

Hi @Michael Mastantuono, I signed up for this virtual boot camp. A friend of mine (real estate investor for quite a few years now) went to his virtual boot camp before, and then he joined one of the in-person boot camp. He recommended it to me so I decided to give it a try as I plan to invest in the multifamily space. Let me know if you end up signing up and we can connect too.
