@Craig Curelop - As a beginner looking to get into the Denver market, house hacking seems like the way to go. Do you have any tips on finding properties with potential to split into 2 levels? I'm not totally opposed to roommates but that option is definitely more appealing with my current situation.

Also, in your opinion, what are the most promising suburbs/areas just outside of the main Denver metro area with growth potential and slightly less insane pricing? 

This question is open to anyone else as well, I've heard some varying opinions on this and would love to hear some more!
