Hello all,

I'm new to real estate investing and considering buying a house in Vermillion (I currently live out of state and unfamiliar with tenant/landlord laws in SD) The house is currently occupied by a tenant through June of 2022. If I purchase the house I would need to evict for purposes of renovation. What are the laws in the state of SD regarding this?

Thanks in advance!

Charles

Hello all!

My name is Charles, I'm 19 years old and in the process of educating myself about real estate. My mind was blown listening to a few podcasts some months ago; perspective of life has totally shifted. My goal is to purchase an SFR by December 2022, with the intention of buying an MFR a few years later. I live in the Bellingham WA area but also have ties back to Sioux City IA. I'm looking forward to meeting and networking here on BP as well as in person. The objective is to find affordable houses in this crazy market (especially in WA)! I'm fortunate to have the right place (BP) to start my journey of financial independence!
