I understand that even though that I’m not a real estate broker or agent that I can get and use the MLS Listing service . Does anyone have information regarding this ?

I’ve recently retired from the auto business after 28 years . Living paycheck to paycheck wasn’t getting it . Since December 2017 I’ve been reading everything I could read , listening to podcast and even paid for a boots on the ground program ( rip off ) but not deterred , I’ve decided that I’m going to create wealth in the real estate market , wholesale to begin with , flips and buy and hold once I have more capital . Looking to make that first deal . I’ve bid on a couple of foreclosures and waiting on an answer . I’m 62 and I’ve always been sucessful . I’m smart , catch on quick and don’t mind hard work or the hours . Heck I’ve worked 60 to 70 hours a week all these years . Moving on , finding motivated sellers seems to be the hardest part . Cash buyers , assembling a team and financing are the easy parts for me . I need a vehicle to find and drive sellers to me .

I’m also new . I’m in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I’d like to partner with a savvy real estate investor that can show me the ropes . I’m interested in some quicker earnings on the front ( wholesaling ) as I’ve quit my job to do this . I’ve found that there are so many different strategies out here that it’s overwhelming . I believe that my biggest problem is finding motivated sellers . I’m looking at different ways to drive sellers to me , direct mail , Facebook , Craigslist and bandit signs . These have always served me in the past in the automobile business , which I’ve done for 27 years . I just need some real direction from a pro . I don’t mind work or the hours . I take direction well . Is there someone out there that might be willing to help me ?
